Newly Qualified First Aiders at Lightcliffe
Lightcliffe is pleased to announce that three of its staff are now fully trained in First Aid. Senior Technician Andy, Sales Manager Liam, and Senior Service Advisor Promise have all recently qualified in first aid as part of our comprehensive care plan for customers.
In busy retail places, especially motor vehicle showrooms with tiled floors, sits often all go. In such a busy environment most of the staff are always moving "with haste" to complete tasks or attend to a customer request and everyone is constantly on the move - there’s just always a constant flurry of activity.
In the and bustle of the retail environment accidents may occur and unfortunately cannot be avoided no matter how many health and safety policies we have in place. All it needs is car door left open, a spillage or a puddle from wet weather or even a faint in the wrong place and injury can ensue.
Trained first aiders can perform two essential roles. Firstly, they can attend to minor injuries and incidents thus avoiding the need to call the already overburdened emergency services. Secondly and more importantly they can bridge the gap between the time of the injury and the arrival of the emergency services for more serious injuries which in the current climate is particularly relevant.
Promise coaches kids football, Liam is an ex-pro golfer and Andy has four childeren of his own so with that mix of hobbies, A&E will have been visited on at least one occasion.
Thankfully at their freinds family and wards can now rest easy that they are in the very capable hands of Andy, Liam and Promise for any futuire mishaps!
