Lightcliffe In New Partnership With Local Charity
Lightcliffe Skoda has recently teamed up with the St Rocco’s Hospice and will be participating in several events in 2025 to raise funds for the charity. The hospice does incredible work in the community improving end-of-life care and associated treatment throughout the Warrington area.
The care at St Rocco’s is offered free of charge to everyone. They provide holistic care and support each patient with as they make their own choices about their care. Respect and dignity for patients is at the forefront of what they do, and they truly believe in making every day count for patients and their families & loved ones.
Each year, St Rocco’s needs to raise over £5 million to provide this care across Warrington. The majority of this funding is made up of donations, fundraising and gifts in wills so without the support of the partnerships like this one and the wider Warrington community, they simply couldn’t do what they do.
GM Nick Price was keen to stress his support this worthy cause: “The team at Lightcliffe Skoda are delighted to partner with St Roccos, and to help bring awareness and to also help raise funds for this essential charity which serves the people of Warrington.”
Over the next 12 months, Lightcliffe Skoda will be getting involved in a range of fundraising activities like the Warrington Running Festival and the annual Dragon Boat race and the team are looking forward to working with the people of Warrington to raise as much money as they can.
Liam Durkan, Corporate Partnerships Manager at St Rocco’s said, "Our business partnerships play a vital role in supporting patients and sharing information about the services we offer. 2025 is our 40th Anniversary year and we wouldn’t be more excited to start working with Lightcliffe Skoda as we celebrate this incredible milestone. This partnership directly supports the people of Warrington who need us most and we’re so grateful for the support from the Lightcliffe Skoda team”
