Krazy Races Massive Success For Patryk
The Northwich Krazy Races was a huge success again this year with record numbers of people attending and a fantastic array of carts competing
In particular the VIP enclosure, which was sponsored by the dealership, was one of the star attractions and raised over £6000 for Patryk’s memorial fund.
In the initial couple of heats Lightcliffe’s entry, the Patryk Rugby Ball did not feature but after some tinkering by the Lightcliffe boss Ian and chief engineer James (pictured ) and a decision by the driver Eric not to use the brakes it was suddenly a contender for the podium.
The final was nail-biting with some of the faster carts failing to stop before hitting the barrier tyres and therefore being disqualified. In a truly remarkable finish Eric made an incredible time qualifying him for second place and crashing after the finish line just a few feet before the barrier, thus validating his time.
An amazing day was had by all and a huge thanks goes out to everyone who contributed to such a worthy cause.
