Mike Brings Experience And Much More To The Team
Although it’s widely accepted that experience is gained by doing a job it’s not quite the full story and to say that our newly appointed used car sales manager Mike Charnley has experience because of his previous appointments is quite frankly an understatement.
Working with some of the top brands in the world namely Land Rover, Maserati and Lamborghini would certainly tick the experience box but his personality, approach to the job and the ease with which he has very quickly built a rapport with the execs in the sales team speak volumes about the way that he has embraced his new role.
It’s not all about cars either and Mike, pictured with general manager Nick was a keen footballer until a few years ago and still plays cricket on a regular basis. He also complements the collective golf handicap of the dealership and although not a scratch golfer like two of his compatriots at Lightcliffe he is nevertheless a single figures handicap golfer.
Mike grew up in Cleveleys and like any good grandfather loves spending time with his grandchildren and going off for the weekend with family in his campervan. He is also tenuously linked to the popular discount store B&M Bargains as the business was started in his garage in 1993, and as is always the case with this column we can tentatively hint at his footballing loyalties, namely blue and East!
So on behalf of all the team at Lightcliffe we wish Mike a warm welcome and look forward to working with him over the coming months and years!
